Lucy Hopkins

Clown-Teacher (UK)

Lucy Hopkins trained at the schools of Jacques Lecoq and Philippe Gaulier. They are a clown, teacher, director and high priestess of idiot, touring their genre-busting ceremonial shows and workshops around the UK and Europe. They are Creative Director of Vogrie Pogrie – festival of creativity and curious happenings – and the BlundaBus and Magical SpiegelYurt – radical, travelling, micro arts venues. In all of their work they seek to embody the multiple, different versions of themself, their exchanges and their different relationships with the audience. The foundation of all of their work is the full-hearted belief that people are tremendous.
