Radha Ramaswamy
Founder | Centre for Community Dialogue and Change (India)
Radha Ramaswamy is the founder of the Centre for Community Dialogue and Change (CCDC), a Bangalore-based organisation that offers workshops and training in Theatre of the Oppressed (TO) across diverse populations, in India and abroad. Radha initiated CCDC’s pioneering use of TO for Health Humanities. Bringing over 25 years of academic experience to her TO practice, Radha has been actively encouraging and promoting documentation, research, and collaboration for TO practitioners. She does this through her own practice as well as through the regular community building programmes that CCDC has been organizing for Bangalore Jokers, the community of TO practitioners who have trained with CCDC.
