Saskia Solomons

Performer-Clown Idiot (UK)

Saskia Solomons is a physical theatre performer and creator, storyteller, facilitator and clown-idiot apprentice. They completed the two-year Advanced Course in the Lecoq/Copeau/Bing pedagogy of actor-led devised theatre at the London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA) and are also a Mindfulness Hatha Yoga teacher and Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner. Saskia explored combining embodied IFS with clown-led performance in their recent Edinburgh Fringe solo show, ‘Fool’s Gold’ and is passionate about developing this synthesis both as a healing modality and theatre pedagogy. They are guided by curiosity, compassion, joy and holy stupidity.
